Supervisor : Senior Solution Designer, Integration and Data Services

Duration : September to December 2018

Work with the .NET, .NET Core and T-SQL language framework in order to integrate the various business platforms into the enterprise service bus (ESB).

The incumbent will work in an Agile delivery context. He or she will be part of a team devoted to meeting the organization’s data needs via an event-

driven ESB linked with an operational data store (ODS) and to integrating certain strategic applications.


  • Participate in the development phases : analysis, design, implementation, tests, documentation and deployment.
  • Help design solutions, make recommendations, and develop, test and prepare migration of the solutions.
  • Produce high-quality code in keeping with best practices and existing design models.
  • Provide complete, up-to-date documents on all supported components.
  • Maintain existing applications and their components.
  • Participate actively in team meetings.
  • Education

  • Bachelor’s student in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
  • Good academic standing
  • Knowledge and Skills

  • Interest in developing .NET Framework 4.x solutions with C# and using MSTest, NUnit or xUnit unit tests
  • Interest in backend Web development (ASP.NET Core 2.0, RESTful API, JSON, reverse proxy)
  • Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
  • Good understanding of the use of transactions, blocking mechanisms and performance optimization with SQL Server / T-SQL 2012 or more recent
  • Knowledge of JSON, XML, XSLT and XPath
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture
  • Practical experience with Dapper, Reactive Extensions, Serilog, RabbitMQ, Autofac, Moq, an asset
  • Experience with continuous integration (CI), continuous deployment (CD) and / or DevOps
  • Practical experience with an Agile delivery team, preferably in a Scrum framework
  • Practical experience in cloud computing (gcloud, AWS, Azure) and containerization, an asset
  • Practical experience with NoSQL databases, an asset
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, TypeScript, Python), an asset
  • Knowledge of the financial field, an asset
  • Solid proficiency in spoken and written English and French
