What This Position Is All About :

As a QA Engineer, you are primarily responsible for knowing all things testing on sterling OMS software product. You are also responsible for the creation, maintenance and execution of automated test scripts.

You will author tests via Automation Tool (JIFFY), assigned to you by your manager. You will develop tests from scratch as well as convert manual tests prepared by other teams.

You will make sure that automated test suites are ready and available for execution on a regular schedule and on demand.

You are expected to keep test suites current with new features or functional updates. You can also be assigned to support a functional or performance testing project.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any related field of study.
  • Java and / or networking certification, preferred

  • Three (3) years cumulative software testing experience
  • At least One (1) years of developing automated test scripts
  • Minimum 1 year experience in automation scripting

  • As the QA Engineer, You Will :

  • Experience with Sterling OMS Experience is a must
  • Develop test plan, test scenarios, test readiness document, system context diagram, and defect reporting guidelines
  • Deliver effective and efficient testing solutions by meeting key project milestones
  • Provide comprehensive test strategy across various systems
  • Ability to support and govern End-to-End testing process
  • Understanding of Web Technologies.
  • Web Development experience.
  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with a High-Level Programming Language and Object-Oriented Programming.
  • Ability to maintain / enhance Automation Tests.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux Operating System.
  • Knowledge making Web Services and Restful Services requests.
  • Proficiency with SQL- demonstrated ability to create DB table Schema, Stored Procedure, and Trigger.
  • Knowledgeable of the various data exchange formats like CSV, XML, JSON, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of Data Analysis (log analysis, network package analysis, etc ).
  • Understanding of Continuous Deployment and Continuous Integration.
  • Good problem-solving skill.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with business and technical audiences.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and working through multiple priorities.
  • Self-starter and team player.
  • Flexible to work extended hours or off-hours when needed.Preferences :
  • Knowledge of Groovy language.
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented Design and affectively apply Pattern Design
