Respiratory Therapist, Guelph In the position of Respiratory Therapist you will be responsible for respiratory assessments in the community and the initiation of prescribed therapies.

Included in the role is training and implementation regarding the use of medical equipment devices such as CPAP and Bi-level machines, devices used for mobilization of secretions and trachea care, cardiac and oximetry monitoring, and provisions for oxygen therapy portability for our clients.

Training also provided for arterial blood gas testing. Promotion of Medigas products and services to referral sources, including educational in services to medical / healthcare communities is an integral part of the job.

This position is based at our location in Guelph, ON and will be travelling in the surrounding community. Praxair offers a competitive salary, a comprehensive flex-

Qualifications Required license or certification in good standing : RRT or RNPrior clinical practice is requiredHomecare, Sleep Therapy and Sales experience preferredExpertise in clinical in services considered an assetProficiency in MS Office Suite and CRMMust be customer focused, organized, possess excellent interpersonal and time management skillsProven ability to manage client relationships as well as maintain homecare sales growthFirst Aid CertificationStrong commitment to safetyClear driver’s abstract (a company vehicle will be provided)Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Medigas is committed to employment equity for women, aboriginal people, visible minorities, and persons with disabilities.
