This role involves research, design, implementation and evaluation of novel machine learning and deep learning algorithms, especially algorithms to mine data from bioinformatics resource portals (ie ExPASy), and focusing on creating scalable and accurate computer control to optimize test results.
Architect and develop data learning engines
Research and develop statistical learning models for data analysis
Design automated algorithm evaluations
Integrate new features and mature algorithms in new and current applications
Develop efficient algorithms that are designed to work in real-time and / or on large data sets
Develop algorithms and processing methods for minimizing noise in data
Assist with the integration and development of system level software
Completed a degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in computer science, mathematics, statistics or related discipline with a focus on machine learning, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Algorithmic Foundations of Optimization, Data Mining and Machine Intelligence .
Experience with C / C++, C#, Python
Practical experience implementing and expanding on a variety of machine learning models
Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills
General familiarity with Linux
Strong mathematical and statistical skills
Strong knowledge of modern machine learning systems and techniques
Additional Preferred Qualifications :
Background in biology
Experience in developing API's
Experience in modern front-end technologies
Experience with MS SQL
