Cayenta Utilities is looking for a Vice President of Operations to join the organization. As the VP of Operations, you will have overall responsibility for the Professional Services and Customer Support teams.
You will work directly with the Executive Vice President, and existing managers of the departments, to build an organization that delivers financial results and long-term organic growth.

What your responsibilities will be : Planning Responsible for overall profitability of the business Create and deliver a plan for on-going organic revenue growth Maintain a 12-month rolling forecast of revenues and expenses for the business Provide detailed, quarterly briefings about the business’s outcomes and goals Sales Participate in Annual User Conference and Regional User Groups Provide sales assistance with RFP responses and onsite presentations Lead creation of deliverables for Statements of Work (SOW) Leadership Act as a mentor to direct reports and high-potential employees to ensure continued talent development within the organization Supervise the department managers and provide them with coaching and advice Provide proactive customer follow-up, communication & issue management Ensure contractual obligations are met and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained Work with the division management team to establish long-term strategies for all product lines Act as an escalation point for customers What we are looking for : 10+ years of experience managing a department or a business Demonstrated experience with ownership and management of a P&L Experience managing multi-functional group of more than 20 people What would make you stand out : Experience in the electric or water utility industry Leadership experience within the software services industry What we offer : 3 weeks' vacation and 5 personal days Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision coverage from your first day of employment Health insurance, effective on your first day Lifestyle rewards Employee stock ownership and RRSP / 401k matching programs
