Assist a client with employment while providing engagement and access to services within the community. Active knowledge of the community and an understanding of FASD will be considered an asset.
Training will be provided for all tasks required to complete.
Qualifications / Education / Training / Experience required :
Diploma or Certificate in Human Services or a related field.
At least 6 months previous related experience is required. Direct program delivery experience in the community / social services sector with a demonstrated working knowledge of community based programs and related provincial and community support is preferred.
Current Level 1 First Aid (including CPR) Certification.
Approved Criminal Record Check and MCFD HUB Check.
Computer literacy (including internet).
CPI (Non Violent Crisis Intervention) training provided
Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test.
Safe driving record, access to a reliable vehicle and proof of at least 2 million liability insurance will be required.
Cooking and cleaning skills required

Additional Information :
A moderate to high level of physical fitness is required, since direct delivery of program activities may involve : standing, walking, exercising with the person served, bending and lifting (etc.
An openness and willingness to accept change and transition as part of one’s job is paramount. CSWU Union Membership is also required .
