Description : Candidate will be the manager of the MILSTRIP Requisitioning Group supporting a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Duties will include coordinating task order requirements with the Program Management and Logistics personnel to include the warehouse, transportation, repair and return, and Logistics leadership.

The candidate will ensure that the most efficient and effective processes are utilized in handling customer material. Responsibilities include coordinating program requisitions, and inventory related task order requirements with all functional organizations, performing analyses, preparing reports to validate supply obligations, monitoring expenditures, and providing estimates.

Proactive in planning, scheduling and executing daily activities. Maintain a complete understanding and application of business principals, concepts, practices and standards.

Work with DOD systems. Understand DOD cataloging process and DOD logistics terminology. Work with Microsoft software programs.

Coordinate the Life Cycle Sustainment Management by providing logistical support to the program.The candidate must have a working knowledge of DoD logistics terminology.

Must be proficient in Microsoft software programs in order to research, develop and create documents and presentations. Experience and a strong knowledge of applying advance database techniques for extracting querying and analyzing large amounts of raw data from various sources.

Provides leadership in the field of logistics on the programs / platforms assigned. Participate in the development, expansion, improvement, maintenance, and administration of wholesale supply requirements for the Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS), Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP), Military Standard Transaction Reporting and Accounting Procedures (MILSTRAP).

Basic Qualifications : Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership characteristics. Broad experience with logistics management, logistics management systems, analysis and inventory management / control.

Demonstrated experience leading people and teams in a dynamic and challenging environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the demonstrated ability to communicate to all levels of management and customer organization.

  • Advanced experience in FEDLOG / WebFLIS research Warehouse and Property Management experience; intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
  • skills in developing trust with internal partners. Strong interpersonal, communication and networking ability able to generate innovative solutions through process improvement and change management events.

    Desired Skills : Experience and understanding of DoD Logistics systems / processes and FAR compliance and property accountability.

    Experience with executing inventories and inventory control.Previous work experience designing and implementing Logistics Automation systems and technologies to improve logistic efficiencies, effectiveness, inventory control, provisioning, forecasting, and metric generation.

    Government On Line Data Inventory Management System experience and Jobscope desired but not required. Relevant experience with potential future systems DPAS, SAP -

    desired but not required.Lean / Six Sigma certification or experience.
