You will start with a two week training program including time in the warehouse, a thorough product introduction, CRM and ERP training and well documented procedures.

At the end of the training you will be comfortable with your new role.

About the Opportunity :

Drawing on your outstanding customer account handling skills, you will qualify customer needs, and provide product solutions with an outstanding customer focussed attitude.

An understanding of the retail environment and the marketing of products to consumers will be a huge advantage. The position is subject to change and will grow with candidates ability.

More specifically, you will :

  • Build account relationships through a strong product knowledge, insightful relationship handling, and the ability to understand the retail environment
  • Troubleshoot client inquiries and communicate innovation
  • Project manage large value orders and custom opportunities
  • Recommend products and / or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction, increase account sales potential, and engage in new product development;
  • Follow sales inquiries, quotes and orders through to completion using CRM / ERP software, maintain timely and relevant information and track sales;
  • Perform order / quote processes such as compiling paperwork, data entry and reporting
  • Correspond with customers and Operations on issue such as : stock status, ship dates, method of payment, and proof of delivery
  • Support Outside Sales team with Top Accounts through weekly meetings, inventory stocking programs, annual pricing review and account strategy for growth
  • Occasional travel to retail stores to look for product application, spot competitive opportunities and present solutions to customers
  • To be considered, you will be perceptive with customersand have a strong strategic approach. You will be exceptional communicating with customers, and be interested in the marketplace with a strong business acumen.

    You must have a high-level attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to multi-task, solve problems and make presentations.

    Education and / or Experience will be preferencially considered.

    The successful candidate must be computer literate (MS Office and CRM tools) . Additionally, you'll possess highly developed and effective written and verbal English communication skills and will be a self-motivated and positive 'go getter' who is able to work comfortably and accurately in a fast paced environment.
