As part of the Radeon Graphics HW Validation team, the Senior Sys / Test Validation Engineer leads the post-silicon validation engineering efforts of AMD’s latest graphics IPs and technologies on dGPUs .
Lead & drive post-silicon graphics validation efforts of AMD’s newest GPU
Create, plan, and execute power measurement test plans
Analyze and report failure and sightings and drive them to closure with collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams
Develop validation strategies, pioneer hardware / software validation improvements
BS. in Electrical / Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
Knowledge of computer hardware architecture (CPU / APU, graphic cards, memory, bus logic, and display technologies) and software architecture (driver / bios)
Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment (i.e., oscilloscopes and logic analyzers)
Solid understanding of circuits design, software (driver / bios) architecture
Hands-on debug experience with dGPU / APU, motherboards, memory interface, bus logic
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
Development experience in a silicon bring-up environment an asset
Knowledge in display technology an asset
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Ruby and Python an asset
