Scout Logistics, a leading and rapidly growing Canadian 3PL (Third Party Logistic Provider) and proudly one of Deloitte Canada's Best Managed Companies for five straight years, is looking to expand its presence in Canada and seeking qualified candidates for the position of Branch Director in our up-and-coming location in Montreal.

As Branch Director you will play a critical role in building a branch from the ground up that will meet and exceed revenue and profitability goals enabling Scout Logistics to meet our strategic objectives.

The Branch Director will have P&L accountability and be responsible to hire, train and further develop Scout staff to meet branch objectives while following our basic principles of teamwork, honesty, integrity, and providing exceptional service that surpasses expectations.

With the support of upper management, the Branch Director will build, drive, mentor and manage high-octane teams of Customer Sales and Carrier Development Specialists.

We are actively seeking a motivated, self-driven and well-organized individual who has a solid understanding of 3PL sales and operations in addition to exceptional leadership experience in building and growing solid, strong-performing teams.

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, in fluent English (additional languages considered an asset).
  • Strong computer skills, including all Microsoft Office applications.
  • The successful candidate will have at least five (5) years of Branch Leadership experience in a fast-paced, non-asset, 3PL environment (preferably FTL, reefer or dry van experience).

    This role will require occasional travel within Canada and the US.
