  • What will you do?

    As a CNC Machinist / Programmer, you will control nearly every aspect of the manufacturing process creating Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programs, as well as setting up and operating 3 axis CNC equipment.


    To perform this job successfully, you must be able to report daily to the company’s Mississauga, Ontario branch to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, specifications, and design data to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates
  • Create CNC programs using Cam software
  • Determine the sequence of machine operations, and select the proper cutting tools needed to machine workpieces into the desired shapes
  • Set-up CNC equipment to perform the task at hand, setting up work holding fixtures, setting / installing / calibrating tools using a wireless intuitive probing system, set work offsets using a probing system.
  • Observe machines on trial runs or conduct computer simulations to ensure that programs and machinery will function properly and produce items that meet specifications.
  • Modify existing programs to enhance efficiency.
  • Help to maintain machines and work areas in a clean and safe manner.
  • Work in other areas or departments as assigned.
  • Shift Hours Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm
