We are currently looking for a Software Developer (Data Modelling and Wiki Designer) to join our System of Systems (SoS) team in Ottawa.
Working with our customer, Canadian Military, this role provides Engineering and Integration Transition Software and Cyber Security support services for the Land Command Support System (LCSS) or Land Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) System.
Primary objective is to support and provide information and information services to make effective and timely Command and Control decisions involved in Canadian Army operations.
At the SoS level, our LCSS Engineering and Integration Support Contract (LEISC) teams has been tasked to conduct of architecture, design, and integration & verification activities of the Wiki.
This also includes information management, delivery and maintenance of artefacts supporting the deliverable products and associated initiatives.
Essential Skills :
As the Software Developer, your role is to understand, document and communicate solutions to meet current and future long-term business needs and requirements into an information management data model.
You will lead and coordinate automation of documentation deliverables and other associated initiatives within the Wiki Architecture, including the Framework driving how the Wiki model is built and how the information is managed within.
Working within the Configuration Management, Document Management and Release process, you must understand the version protection and formal release of Wiki content.
In addition, you will verify and identify methodologies to increase level of quality, consistency, usability and reusability of information and documentation based on feedback from its community of users.
Other tasks will include identifying areas for improvements to applicable processes, standards and guidelines for all contributions through user guide development, mentorship and utilizing best practices and provisions of training tools.

Must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment. Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
