Forge Recruitment is currently conducting a search for an Insurance Defence Law Clerk to join an Insurance Defence Law Firm.

Based in Downtown Toronto, this is a great opportunity to join a firm which places emphasis on work-life balance.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage insurance defence files, specifically casualty, accident benefits and property damage claims, from open to close.
  • Draft pleadings, status reports and synopsis memos.
  • Assemble case materials, prepare for trials and arbitrations
  • Communicate with counsel and clients.
  • What You Bring

  • 3+ years of Insurance Defence Law Clerk experience gained from working in a law firm
  • A Law Clerk certificate
  • Proficiency and knowledge in the Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Time Matters and PrimaFact
