Must have skills*

  • You are either an experienced systems administer with professional skills in Linux, preferably on distributed systems at scale
  • You should be experienced using a public / private Cloud; AWS, GCP, Azure or OpenStack
  • You can easily read code and are comfortable with both GIT and Source Control
  • You have experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management (SALT, Puppet, Chef, Ansible)Technology Skills will be supported -
  • Linux, AWS, Azure, Windows - Splunk- Jenkins- GIT / Bitbucket- Containers (Docker) - Datadog- Terraform- Automation tools (Salt, Chef, Puppet or similar)

  • Experience in supporting large, enterprise environments
  • Understand of the change management process : ensure proper testing, sign-off, and communication the SRE team

  • Key responsibilities*

  • They will also be responsible for administrating infrastructure as code
  • You will respond to escalations from our L2 team or tickets from the SRE team- executing quickly.
  • Responsible for supporting opportunities for automation of fixes. With the SRE designs and fixes well documented, the SDS team will easily release software for the Cloud.
  • This requires the ability to easily understand documentation on installations, procedures and requirements for all infrastructure systems including Nexus, Jenkins, Satellite, SALT.

  • Using the documentation provided, the Service Delivery Support team is responsible for implementing and supporting operational management of systems that deliver against strict requirements for functionality, scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Working within SLA timelines, you are required to triage operations support.

  • Serve as a technical point of contact for non-critical pre-production / production issues and fixes. Escalating critical issues to the on call engineer OR notifying non critical issues to a triage for the engineers to review at a later time.
