Shift : Monday to Friday 7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm
Role Purpose : Responsible for cleaning up yard area of broken skids and recyclables from the plant.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
Remove broken skids, sort and load them into a bin or trailer.
Repairs broken Mods and supplies the plant when they are repaired.
Empty garbage cans / remove plant recyclables.
Remove empty barrels from the plant into a trailer in the yard.
Keeps inventory by removing and replacing poultry drawers.
Fill pot holes as required.
Snow and Salt removal from designated area as required
Policies, Processes & Procedures
oFollow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Ability to keep inventory and provide daily reports on tasks completed
Computer Literacy (MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook)
Ability to work independently
Ability to work / excel in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective multi-tasking is essential;
Working knowledge of knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), WHMIS, and all other workplace H&S regulations;
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma required.
Skid Steer / Forklift Operator license preferred.
