Position Overview : Positive Life Concepts is seeking an Experienced Denturist to join our Client’s practice in Medicine Hat, AB.

This growing clinic has been operating in Medicine Hat for over 10 years and is adding an experienced Denturist with excellent customer service skills to their team.

Position requires both clinical and lab work; communication with patients, referring dentists and other team members. Applicants should have a strong work ethic, and a desire to contribute to the well-being of patients.

Design and execute patient treatment plans keeping organized and focused on patient care.Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and ensure quality control.
Perform all clinical and lab procedures in the fabrication of various denture appliances ensuring quality and patient satisfaction are always priority.
Confidently and effectively communicate with patients and team members regarding treatment planning and execution.Be prepared and anticipate requirements for patient appointments to ensure appointments are productive and organized while ensuring patient care and service is the priority.
Engage with patients to create meaningful and lasting relationships while maintaining patient confidentiality.Review with patients about providing adjustments, repairs or follow up appointments.
Technical expertise and willingness to learn and expand knowledge on advancing techniques and procedures, technology, and bring innovative ideas to the team.
5+ years experience preferred.Good standing with the College of Alberta Denturists (CAD) as a regulated member and good standing with the Denturist Association of Canada.
Expert Skills working on full and partial dentures, repairs and relines, and implants.Excellent communication skills (especially listening skills) working well independently or with a team.
Ability to concentrate, attention to detail, a keen eye for aesthetics and design with exceptional hand-eye co-ordination.
Motivated, high achiever, and someone that considers themselves a self-starter.Creative, innovative and adaptable, taking initiative.
Excellent problem solver who can think quickly on their feet.Superior time management with good decision-making skills.Ability to multi-task, work with deadlines, and maintain professionalism.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a consistent high-quality of work.Education / Certification : Completion of recognized Denturist training program andGood standing with the College of Alberta Denturists (CAD) as a regulated member and good standing with the Denturist Association of Canada.
