Job Summary :

Knowledge and Skills (Education) :

Community College courses in Logistics or Business Administration is an asset

2 -3 years experience in similar position, in a manufacturing environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.); knowledge of CMS is an asset

Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)

Strong organizational skills and procedural knowledge

Major Accountabilities :

Verify General Motors releases

Check CUMS

Communicate with customers as required

Verify ASN's as required

Provide Bill of Lading numbers to shippers and packaging as required

Print out bill of lading numbers

File releases

Make adjustments to daily slip #'s as required

Maintain dunnage spreadsheets as required

Enter manual releases

Abide by all company polices including, but not limited to the following; Health and safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human resources policies, and Martinrea Employee Handbook

Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards and legislation including Environmental Legislation, O. Reg 851 for Industrial Establishments, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (with emphasis on Section 28, (1) (a)-(d), (2) (a)-(c)).

Working Conditions :

99% Office environment, 1% Plant Floor (PPE required)
