Large, well known organization based in Burnaby is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk. This will be a 2-3 month temporary position with possibility of extension.
Location Burnaby, close to Metrotown
Salary $25.35 / hr
Primary duties will include :
Provide temporary support in our Financial Services Department.
Will be responsible entries into the Corporate Finance system
Prepare financial schedules, reconciliations and journal entries
Post and balance customer receipts; prepares and reconciles bank deposits; reconciles customer accounts and follows up on collections from customers
Completing general administrative work as needed
Completing reports as needed
Knowledge of general accounting in a computerized accounting environment
Ability to understand and carry out established accounting procedures.
Ability to maintain sustained attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
Strong administrative and people skills
Advanced MS Office skills in particular Excel
Ability to multi-task and take initiative
Strong organizational ability
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Keen attention to detail
Experience in a fast-paced office environment
