As the Content Marketing Manager on our dynamic Growth team, your mission will be to create compelling content to help us create an entirely new business category through powerful marketing and storytelling.

  • Owning Connected’s content marketing strategy, planning and execution to create world-class thought leadership content
  • Writing and editing high-quality marketing content in a wide variety of formats including e-books, blog posts, proposals, product pages, and more
  • Collaborating with our Product Designers, Engineers, Product Practitioners, and leadership team to help define a new business category and educate the market on our unique value proposition
  • Managing relationships and work with external vendors such as freelance writers, research firms, creative professionals, and industry influencers
  • Supporting our Growth team to create sales enablement content that educates, convinces and converts ambitious product builders at some of the world’s top companies
  • Directly managing a passionate Communications Specialist to ensure our Social Media, PR and short-form content are on brand and meet Connected’s standards
  • Approving all public facing content to protect our brand reputation
  • Meeting with our guild practitioners to gain feedback and insights on what our customers care about and transforming these learnings into educational and inspiring thought leadership content
  • Reviewing content performance and providing recommendations on where you see content gaps and / or ways to enhance existing content to drive demand
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in a content marketing or related role
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to produce attention-grabbing content that is both inspiring and educational
  • Experience creating short-form content (blog posts, infographics, social media posts) and long-form thought leadership content (whitepapers, ebooks, research papers)
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices for content discoverability
  • Ability to collaborate with experts from various backgrounds while still bringing your strong opinions to the table to ensure content is buyer-centric
  • B2B marketing experience is beneficial, especially within professional services and / or technology
  • Experience working with a sales team to create Sales Enablement content (proposals, one-pagers, company overview, sales presentations) is beneficial
