We’re looking for an inspiring and ambitious leader for our podcasting business with a special focus on Pacific Content. Pacific Content is a global leader in creating premium podcasts with brands.

This senior role is responsible for growing our podcasting revenue and overseeing all aspects of the business including strategy, team development, and financial targets (revenue & EBITDA).

The successful candidate will also sit on the News & Entertainment senior leadership team, working in partnership to develop strategic priorities in order to drive the business and deliver results for the division as a whole.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute the long-term strategy and vision for Pacific Content and the podcasting business
  • Proactively grow our business and revenue through partnerships, securing high-end customers, business development and original podcasts
  • Be accountable for the overall P&L of the Pacific Content and podcasting business and lead and inspire the team to achieve growth targets
  • Identify long term opportunities and a business development roadmap to capitalize on opportunities, including new formats of audio and new distribution channels where brands can find value and we can grow audience
  • Develop new strategies for helping our clients find deep and long-term success in audio
  • Empower production teams to make world-class podcasts and audio content to deliver values to our clients and to audiences
  • Support and build on our inclusive and creative team culture and reputation as a world-class partner and long-term collaborator with our clients
  • Coach and develop staff in production, audience insights, business development and management
  • Help the Pacific Content team improve collaboration with the Rogers Sports & Media team

  • An obsession for the audio format and how-to best leverage audio to engage our audiences
