As the Product Manager for the OEM products, you will be owning and managing the worldwide product portfolio for the Embrionix OEM Product Family (revenue, margin, lifecycle) and act as the Global Product Family Champion.
You will research markets trends, technologies and competition and develop compelling product strategies and roadmaps aligned with the global strategic objectives of the business.
You will also be expected to provide leadership of Agile development teams including feature backlog prioritization and to manage new product introduction and provide core messaging content to Marketing.
Your tasks will include the following :
Gather market intelligence, understand how the market is segmented, how customers use products & carry out competitive win / loss analysis
Track technology trends and validate product requirements and specifications with lead customers and channel partners
Build product strategies and roadmaps to deliver growth, improved margins and strengthen competitive positioning
Identify new market opportunities & write PRDs (Product Requirements Documents) to drive Agile development & NPI (New Product Introduction)
Develop financial business cases for New Product developments
Lead cross functional NPI teams and launch of new products to agreed financial, timescales and customer satisfaction targets
Develop core product messaging and positioning with the Marketing team
Be a champion for the product with internal and external audiences and support sales teams in customer engagement
Set Global pricing and default discount levels and maintain Master Pricelist
Setup products on company ERP systems
Manage product Life-cycle for in-life product portfolio and End-of-Life.
Track product family financial performance and trends
Participate in optimization of the Product Management organization through continuous improvement of business processes
Represent the company at trade fairs and events
Education and profession record
Successful completion of (technical) university studies, e.g. electronic / software engineering or relevant experience in a business / technology environment.
5+ years of proven experience in a relevant market field
Deep experience in Product Management with 2-4 years’ experience in a software / hardware manufacturing business with international customer base.
Proven track record of successful new product development using Stage Gate and Agile processes.
