The Role :

  • Supporting full cycle recruitment including creation of job postings, researching of recruitment strategies, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks
  • Working with managers to prepare offer letters and conducting employee orientations
  • Participating in job fairs
  • Tracking and reporting HR metrics
  • Supporting the HR Manager with HR projects as needed
  • Acting as a first point of contact for employee relations questions for dedicated employee groups
  • Managing vacation and sick day reporting
  • Coordinating health and safety activities
  • The Ideal Candidate :

  • University degree or diploma in human resources
  • Previous HR and / or recruitment experience
  • A high level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Tech savvy, with the ability to learn new systems
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work in a high-volume deadline-driven environment
