Job Purpose

Reportingdirectlytothe Sales Strategy NRM Lead, the Sales Strategy Manager plays a central role in thedeliveryofGSK’s net sales strategicgrowth plan fortheirassignedportfolio, bybrand.

Primaryaccountabilitiesincludeleadingthedevelopmentofchannel & customerin-marketstrategies, creatingsellingtoolsthatstrengthenour Sales go-to-marketcapability, planningefficiency, and customereffectiveness.

This role alsoinfluencesretailexecutiontoensureourbrand and customerstrategies are effectivelyimplementedin-storewiththedesiredshopperimpact.

The role workscollaborativelyacrossallfunctionstoensurewe are planningourbusinesstomeettheevolvingneeds and timelines ofourcustomerpartners, and executingourin-marketplanswithexcellence as measuredagainstpredefinedgoals.

Undertheguidanceofthe Sales Strategy & NRM Lead, and workingseamlesslywithCustomer Sales Teams and Brand Marketing :

Clearly Define TradeStrategies

Developtheannual sales plansforassignedbrands; establish and measureagainstgoals

Deliverinsight-basedassortment, promotion, shelf & pricingguidancetoolkits

Develop new product sales plans / prioritiestosupportvaryingcustomer & channelmodels (EDLP, Hi-Lo, E-Commerce)

Translatebrand & categorystrategiesintochannel and compelling, shopper-basedcustomerstrategicsellingpropositions

Develop and standardize persuasive presentationmaterials and toolstomaximizesellingeffectiveness

Lead appropriatechannel & customerdifferentiationstrategies and needs

Ensuredisplaystrategies / offerings are in line withthestrategies

Defendwithkeymarketstrategiesagainst competitive threats

Plan Effectively

Incorporatecustomer & channelstrategiesintobrandlong / mid-termcategoryplans

Be theCustomer and Portfolio Expert

Be recognized as theRetailexpertforbrand, finance, operations, supply and otherdepartments as required

Participate in and lead assignedsegmentsofCustomerJoint Business Planningmeetings

Participate in Customer Sales S&OP process as a contributorforcategoryinsights and promotiontrends

SupportRetailDevelopmentplanningtoensurebrand plan priorities are aligned, effectivelycommunicated, and appropriatelyactioned and measured

Basic Qualifications :

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals :

Bachelor'sdegree in businessor a relatedfieldwith a minimumof 5 yearsTier 1 CPG sales experience

Minimumof 2 years Sales Strategyor Sales Planningfunctionalexperience

Well-developedstrategic and criticalthinkingcapabilities, followedbystrongexecutionskills

Demonstratedbusinesssavvy; confidencetoengage at executive levelsbothinternally and externally at customers

Strongfinancial acumen, budgetmanagementskills, and proficiency in forecastingknowledge

Strongwritten and verbal communicationskills



Experienceworking in the OTC marketanasset

Advancedknowledgeof A.C. Nielsen, IQVIAservices data trendsinterpretation, retail POS data and customersystems

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
