NATURE OF THE WORK

Employment as a rehabilitation counselor includes more specifically prevention, screening, assistance and support for students with disabilities or students who present or are likely to present adjustment or learning difficulties, with the aim of promote the psychological health and restore the mental health of the student in interaction with his environment and support him in his academic progress and his personal and social development.

MANDATE DETAILS

Possibility of obtaining a full-time position (5 days to 35 hours / week) OR part-time (different combinations possible : one day, two days, three days or four days).

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Terminal university degree in an appropriate field of specialization, in particular in psychology.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

This position requires :

  • Pass a French test according to the success threshold required by the school board (SEL or CÉFRANC / TECFÉE) .
  • TREATMENT : According to the national agreement governing non-teaching professionals.
