Senior Analyst, Data & Ad Product StrategyThe Senior Analyst work with the new Consumer Solutions and Ad Product team and the Sales Leadership Team to develop and implement plans and priorities that help Rogers Media meet its long-

term strategic objectives. The group is a new, nimble team, with a mandate to transform and strengthen digital revenue models across Rogers’ diverse media assets.

The focus is on leading the development of the road map for the Rogers Media’s data plan. The Analyst will also support decision-

making, through targeted analysis, syndication, and working team leadership and will help drive project execution where required.

The work environment will be heavily team-based, requiring the individual to work in a collaborative environment, including clients across the business.

  • Key activities will include : Problem Solving & Insight : Provide insight and well-supported conclusions to help resolve business choicesUnderstand and help identify the specific challenges and opportunities facing Rogers MediaShape the analysis and outline key steps required to resolve specific issuesDevelop actionable recommendations for key business decisions and / or transactionsBuild accurate financial and analytical models and synthesize insight from this analysisCommunications & Presence : Communicate effectively with clients and teams in various mediums and situationsCredibly and effectively communicate findings, both orally and in writingAdd constructively to debate and dialogue with facts and reason;
  • challenge assumptions and inputsFacilitate working sessions with extended team and senior business leadersProject Management : Lead smaller projects and / or specific work-

    steams of a larger projectDevelop work-plans to coordinate cross-team activitiesProduce quality deliverables on time and as committedImplement agreed upon solutions, managing stakeholders and project activities to completionMulti-

    task effectively, juggling multiple projects and / or work-streams at one timeClient Interaction : Build respectful and productive relationships with business leads and project team membersManage independently in a variety of circumstances e.

    g., one-on-one, small groupsServe as strategic thought partner to the Business Development group’s senior leadershipContribution and Collaboration : Work collaboratively and effectively across the organizationFacilitate effective interaction across business units and functional lines of businessAct independently and take on challenges willinglyContribute to the growth and engagement of the business development teamQualificationsUndergraduate degree requiredSecondary degree / diploma / certification or a Master’s degree an asset1 to 3+ years work experience in strategy, at a management consulting firm, investment bank, or similar roles, with media experience preferredProven analytical, financial modeling and problem solving skillsStrong organizational acumen and teamwork skillsStrong communications (written & oral) and interpersonal skills.
