Description
The incumbent will be required to perform the following tasks :
Lead and carry out electrical engineering projects for industrial clients.
Prepare and supervise the production of plans and specifications for engineering projects.
Be responsible for preparing, drafting and producing study reports.
Supervise site work.
Commission electrical equipment.
Manage technical projects (project team, design reviews, costs, schedules).
Ensure technical knowledge is shared with young engineers.
Oversee business relations and the quality of professional services.
Lead and participate in the preparation of proposals.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
From 5 to years of professional experience, mainly in HV, MV and LV apparatus and equipment
Intermediate knowledge of control and protection
Intermediate knowledge of safety in electrical installations
Intermediate knowledge of test equipment for various major apparatus and protective relays
Ability to draft technical documents
Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
Available for short-term (mandatory) and long-term (asset) work assignments with our clients in Québec and the rest of Canada
Asset : experience in carrying out engineering projects for Hydro-Québec
Asset : knowledge of ETAP and AutoCAD software
Asset : knowledge of protection relay manufacturer software (SEL, GE, OMICRON)
Asset : knowledge of how power systems behave
