This care home caters for 35 residents and you will be working single-handed alongside a kitchen assistant. Working straight shifts from 8 : 00am 2 : 30pm, 5 days a week, working alternate weekends.
You will serve breakfast and lunch using all fresh food and you will be responsible for writing the menus. A DBS check will be carried out.
Running the daily kitchen operations
Inspect supplies, equipment and work areas for cleanliness and functionality
Be in charge of preparing and serving a simple menu
Ordering, stock rotation and ensuring stock levels are maintained
Compliance with food hygiene and Health & Safety regulations
Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes.
