  • Act as a key business partner to the Baxter Canada Operations function by working with the operations finance team in providing financial expertise and solutions to achieve annual and strategic objectives.
  • Design and build financial models to better understand key drivers for both Warehouse and Transportation and leverage this knowledge to drive performance improvement
  • Directly accountable to ensure the integrity and compliance for the operations finance team from a GAAP, internal control and Baxter policies and procedures perspective.
  • Accountable for the management and reporting of the Operations P&L including calculating month end journal entries and accruals, putting together summaries for financial review and monthly operating review,
  • Accountable for the management and reporting of the Inventory balances, including reserve analysis
  • Support Operations team on Supply Chain projects and cost savings initiatives
  • Develop and coordinate annual Supply Chain (Transportation and Warehouse costs) budget and quarterly updates (Forecast 1, 2 and 3)
  • Annually update LCR’s (landed cost rates) to ensure inbound shipping and duty costs are correct and up to date
  • Work with Continuous Improvement Manager to calculate and review monthly cost savings projects
  • Responsible for reporting and forecasting Operations SG&A including expense management and headcount reporting
  • Communication and presentation to senior management
  • Support any ad-hoc analysis for Operations teams
  • Challenging the status quo and evaluating where there are opportunities to improve current processes and promote knowledge sharing within the Supply Chain and Finance team

  • Minimum 5 years Finance Experience, with minimum 2 years at SFA level

    10. JD Edwards or similar ERP and Cognos experience would be an asset
