The purpose of the administrative function at Lakeside Gas Services is to deliver superior service through accurate data entry, aid with correspondence, record keeping and filing, while providing information to customers and maintaining accuracy of databases.


  • Adhere to established training processes and procedures to ensure compliance with the quality management system and consistency within the department.
  • Receive, process, and schedule requests for residential / commercial service as appropriate.
  • Maintain regular and consistent communication with Technicians and customers.
  • Be responsive to customer requests and schedule timely service appointments.
  • Issue correspondence per predetermined schedule.
  • Review work orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure accuracy in information transfer and coding of documentation.
  • Track and provide progress report on the status work assignments.
  • Perform Lakeside standard and quality reviews.
  • Identify areas of improvement based on the organization's strategic direction within areas of responsibility.
  • Correspond and investigate with the Technicians and Utility organizations in regards to errors.
  • Participates as needed in special adhoc department projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Ensure filing is accurate and updated correspondence is available as necessary in support of records integrity.
  • Maintain workload at optimal productivity levels to improve operational efficiency.

    Continuous knowledge development of Lakeside’s Quality Management System and other applicable tools and documentation. Participation and knowledge of Lakeside’s Health and Safety program, policies, and regulations.


  • 2-3 years Business Administration experience.

  • Must have obtained an Ontario high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have obtained a post-secondary diploma in Business Administration or equivalent.

  • Work Schedule (Mon to Fri 1 : 30pm to 10pm)
  • Salary : $16.50.00 / hour
