Job Description

We are currently looking for 12 Customer Service Representatives (no sales) for one of our clients located in Halifax. If you are the right one for us, you will have very good communication skills you will have outstanding customer service skills and the ability to multi-task.

You will also have strong organization skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

  • Full time between Monday to Friday, on rotation between 9 am and 9 pm

  • What you will need to succeed :

  • Post-secondary education is preferred
  • 1 to 3 years in customer service environment- call center or client facing experience
  • Confidence in your aptitude to learn and apply information quickly
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with difficult situations and problem solving
  • Ability to learn a variety of computer systems is required
  • Ability to identify callers needs quickly and provide resolution
  • Positive attitude
  • Willingness to take direction
  • A day in the life of a Customer Service Representative :

  • Responsible for handling client and advisor inquiries, requests and problems in regards to our broad suite of Group Retirement Solutions products
  • Research and resolve high volumes of inbound telephone and internet inquiries to effectively meet the diverse needs of customers, within established productivity goals and specified turnaround times.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity, empathy, responsiveness and creativity to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Escalate issues to Management to ensure customer expectations are met when standard procedures are inadequate in meeting specific needs
  • Overtime is required during peak periods
