As a Senior Strategy Manger, you will be focused on creating and executing our organizational interlock strategy, ensuring we have alignment, leverage and cooperation with the rest of the TELUS organization.
You will partner closely with the TELUS Ventures team to ensure we are executing a joint agriculture strategy. And you will work with the Corporate Development team, leading the strategic assessment of potential acquisitions and working through the diligence process.
Develop and execute our interlock strategy with key TELUS organization through thoughtful and outcome oriented programmatic approach.
Act as an internal consultant and work with team members across all levels of the organization to have the right conversations at the right time to turn strategy into action.
Working in partnership with our Corporate Development team, assist in the strategic development, assessment and due diligence of a potential ventures / acquisition, and the preparation of presentations of findings and analysis to senior management.
Research market opportunities and growth rates for select industries
Support the development of sophisticated financial projections, analysis and valuation of inorganic growth opportunities including acquisitions, joint ventures and other initiatives
You're the missing piece of the puzzle
Commended for your strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate team members
Known for your strong analytical and problem solving abilities
Possess the ability to generate insights and recommendations from data
Experience leading or supporting M&A transactions
Knowledge of and experience with financial statements (ratio analysis, performance return measures) and basic understanding of financial valuation methodologies (discounted cash flow, payback period, comparable company analysis)
Solid financial modelling skills including ability to develop driver based business case analysis including NPV and ROI analysis
Excellent analytical and presentation skills with the ability to present strategic options in a clear concise manner for maximum impact
Ability to work under pressure and make modifications in a dynamic environment
Able to engage a diverse set of stakeholders and experts in sharing information to overcome obstacles and achieve objectives
Effective written and verbal communication skills, and top notch presentation development capabilities
High level of professionalism and enthusiasm
Stellar work ethic and results-oriented
Strong project management skills
Excellent MS Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
University Degree, preferably MBA
3-5 years of equivalent experience
