ADESA Saskatoon is currently looking for a full time Vehicle Inspector. Our ideal candidate has the ability to multitask and meet deadlines while staying organized and professional.

Complete thorough vehicle inspections by obtaining an accurate assessment of the vehicle in the form of a detailed and well-
written report and taking pictures of visible damage on the vehicle
Ensures vehicles meet acceptable standards by understanding, enforcing and facilitating the specific programs, rules and guidelines as established by customers (i.e. Ford)
Computer check in of vehicle inventory
Ensure all vehicles coming and going from the premises are accounted for and recorded
Responsible for site security by maintaining the auction perimeter; allowing admittance to authorized personnel and customers, transport and supply companies only
Ensure all site policies and procedures are adhered to
Provide customer service by assisting dealers in locating vehicles / property as well as assisting customers with general inquiries
Must be able to endure long periods outdoors, therefore proper clothing is a requirement for this position

Educational / Experience Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent education
Automotive knowledge is a definite asset
Clean Driver's Abstract
Valid driver's license and able to drive automatic & standard vehicles
Strong computer skills
Good vision and manual dexterity
Excellent reading skills and legible writing skills as well as the ability to make sound decisions and exercise common sense
Attention to detail and ability to work under time constraints
Must be willing to work in various weather conditions
Must be a team player
Reliability, punctuality and dependability are essential
Proven ability to work independently
High degree of ethics and integrity
Excellent customer service and communications skills
Criminal Record Check completed and cleared by ADESA is mandatory.
