CIMA+ has a role for you! With its expertise, our Network Study team will be able to support you in the accomplishment of your projects for Utilities, heavy industry or solar and wind farms.

We are looking for an Engineer with experience in grounding studies to complement our team. This person would preferably be based in the Estrie region, or in the province of Quebec, ideally near one of our offices.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Participate in carrying out studies in permanent and transient conditions on the behavior of electrical networks
  • Use simulation software such as CDEGS, ETAP, EASY POWER and others
  • Participate in proposing solutions to meet the connection requirements of new sources and to improve the stability and reliability of electrical networks
  • Participate in the design of solar, wind, utility, industrial or mining installations
  • Participate in problem solving and finding solutions for various clients
  • Profile

  • University Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Member of l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or other accredited Professional Engineering Association in Canada
  • 5 years or more of relevant experience in the field of electrical network studies
  • Fluency in French both orally and in writing
  • Fluency in English is an asset
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite
  • Autonomy and resourcefulness
  • SES accreditation an asset
  • Ability to travel as required (an asset)
