Name and description of hiring department :

Managed Infrastructure Services - Provides customized solutions to various enterprise level customers. The customer list will expand as new customers sign a Managed Services Contract.

Main Job Duties / Accountabilities include :

  • Provide support to various Managed Services VOIP Customers (includes MACD's, incidents, changes and projects).
  • Work closely with L3 support to resolve complex incidents
  • Provide the necessary support to ensure all SLA's are met.
  • Participate in onboarding process for new clients
  • Must be able to attend customer meetings and clearly identify and communicate various items within Bell’s obligations
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports as required
  • Create and maintain customer and internal technical documentation
  • Act as a team player with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Keep up with emerging telecommunication technology
  • Possessing a valid IP certification (e.g. CCNA), or in the process of achieving it, will be of benefit in carrying out duties and accountabilities

    Essential Qualifications / Skills :

  • Candidates who are part of the Craft and Services bargaining unit must have; A college diploma in electronics or telecommunications, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least one current IP certification (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, Juniper, CVoice, etc.), or in the process of achieving it, or equivalent IP specific knowledge

  • Candidates from outside the Craft and Services bargaining unit must have : A college diploma in electronics or telecommunications, or equivalent work experience A minimum of a high school diploma At least one current IP certification (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, Juniper, CVoice, etc.
  • or equivalent IP specific knowledge

  • Fluent in English
  • As necessary, agree to undergo a background security check to meet a customer’s clearance requirement
  • Intermediate knowledge working on minimum of 2 of the following Call Manager 8.x +, Unity Connection 8.x+, Voice Gateways, Contact Center 8.
  • x +, Emergency Responder 8.x+, TMS (telepresence management system) 13 +, Conductor, Expressway C / E

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Working Conditions :

    This is a 24 / 7 operation, the candidate may be called upon to work variable schedules according to business needs (schedules within a given day are prepared by the Company with due consideration to seniority), to participate in a standby program and work overtime as needed.

    Available and flexible to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays as needed.

    Note that many working conditions are subject to terms outlined in the collective agreement.
