  • This role offers a drive for action with effective management of operational day-to-day activities of the Operations team;
  • including safety and profitability, to meet client deliverables, schedule, costs, and coordination of field operations.

    Responsibilities

  • Lead and foster a positive safety culture via the delivery of Flint’s / ClearStream’s HSE policies, programs and initiatives.
  • Support the Project Manager in the development and implementation of all plans and systems needed to complete the project effectively and efficiently.
  • Oversee workface planning including the development of all work scopes, shift schedules, and fieldwork packages to execute and control all work through to a safe and efficient completion.
  • Work with General Foreman to expedite and coordinate site resources needed to effectively execute the work including sub-contractors, material, construction equipment and labour.
  • Ensure that field activities in the assigned territory meet or exceed safety, quality, schedule and cost through the efficient use of all resources including work force, materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensure that daily and weekly short-range planning is maintained down to the foreman level.
  • Lead and foster a culture ensuring operational supervision is engaged with ClearStream’s core values, policies and processes.
  • Who You Are

  • Leads by example by building and maintaining positive working relationships with customers and internally resulting in continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of short and long-term budgeting, forecasting and project management.
  • Recognized as being a collaborator.
  • Effective and contributing member of the team.
  • Education

  • Professional Engineer with preference for mechanical, or;
  • Journeyman Mechanical Trades Certification.
  • Experience

  • Minimum of 7-10 years Oil & Gas, industrial, or pipeline experience in a supervisory / manager role.
  • Experience and ability to read and interpret Requests for Proposals including technical mechanical / piping drawings and utilize MS Office software and estimating, scheduling and / or project management programs.
  • Experience analyzing project / operational financial data and implementing performance action plans to improve operational results.
