ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Working as an integral part of the Chén̓chenstway Human Resources Department, reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, this position is responsible for shared service administrative and reception function across the Squamish Nation departments, this is shared service provider role to Nation departments based on departmental needs.
The incumbent will coordinate a variety of administrative duties / tasks for the departments. The incumbent is responsible for providing a wide range of clerical and administrative duties.
These tasks include operating switchboards, answering phones, taking messages, managing email and mail correspondence, and calendaring.
The incumbent shares some responsibilities / duties with other admin / coordinator team members as well as provide backup coverage in their absence.
Some duties follow established procedures while others require independent judgment. Operates at a high level of people interaction and must be able to respond with courtesy, tact, and diplomacy.
Given the position may work in all departments, confidentiality is key. Incumbents’ flexibility in availability is an asset.

Starting Salary : $ 17.80 / hour, plus a comprehensive benefit program.
