The Home Solutions Marketing (HSM) is responsible for the marketing of TELUS Future Friendly Home (FFH) Solutions through tight channel and sales execution.

Our team is dedicated to supporting the business by executing marketing campaign, providing insightful reports, trending analysis to enable timely decision making, improve operational performance, and drive business transformation.

We are searching for an accomplished Business Intelligence professional to join our team based in Vancouver / Calgary / Toronto.

The successful candidate will be responsible for execution of marketing campaign from ideation to completion, and providing fact-

based actionable insight to grow our Home Solutions business. Your subject matter expertise, decision support and contributions to future modes of operations will be invaluable to our team and we can't wait to meet you.

Here's how

  • You'll be contributing to all phases of campaign management (ideation, planning, targeting, list generation, measurement, and recommendation) by working in conjunction with the Manager to clearly define analysis / campaign scope, objectives, targeting & measurement strategy for marketing initiatives
  • This will involve assisting in the translation of business requirements into technical specifications
  • You'll also locate, interpret, and integrate new sources of standard and nonstandard data to support marketing initiatives or customer insights and write SQL / SAS scripts / code / automation for data extraction and reporting
  • Identify and analyze the root causes of performance breakdowns and / or inefficiencies and recommend solutions
  • Liaise with cross functional teams, including both technical and marketing teams to stay interlocked on the latest data and software solution
  • Present analysis results and recommendations in business language in different forums / meetings
  • Mentor and provide guidance to team members on technical issues and best practices
  • Qualifications :

    You're the missing piece of the puzzle

  • Strong business acumen and problem solving skills
  • 5+ years of working experience in a market / business intelligence, database marketing and data warehousing environment
  • Advanced working knowledge of SAS and SQL
  • Knowledge and experience with Python highly desirable
  • Fundamental UNIX knowledge, automation, SFTP, and server administration
  • Good understanding of billing systems and analytics databases
  • Sound knowledge of customer analytics, data warehousing, predictive modeling, market segmentation and analysis
  • Keen ability to bridge high level strategic marketing concepts into detailed data representation
  • Superior communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Able to effectively engage stakeholders to establish cross functional alignment for projects
  • Great-to-haves

  • Experience integrating with cloud-based systems and solutions, especially with 3rd party Campaign Management Systems (e.g. Adobe Campaign) desired
  • An understanding of Tableau, DOMO, Excel, Java would be advantageous
  • Experience with Big Data including Splunk and Hadoop
  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in computer science, information systems or equivalent experience
