SkipTheDishes is seeking to hire a Project Manager for a minimum of a one-year contract position, who will be in charge of managing the new Head Office Project.

The Project Manager will be reporting to the Chief People Officer and collaborating closely with the Head of Facilities for this project.

The successful candidate will work directly with leadership to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.

They will coordinate with other Skip teams to ensure all aspects of the project are compatible. This role involves developing and monitoring project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.

To be successful as a Project Manager, you will need to be able to work on tight deadlines, be competent in using Microsoft Office and Google applications and have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills to communicate with Leadership.

Project Manager Responsibilities :

In conjunction with the Head of Facilities and the CPO, develop the New Head Office Project Plan(s)

Manage, maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, budgets and expenditures.

Organize, attend and participate in all project meetings, stakeholder meetings and steering committee meetings.

Effectively communicate project status both on a planned and ad hoc basis to stakeholders and steering committee members (C-Suite leaders)

Manage the day-to-day activities with the architect / contractor throughout the construction process.

Assist with the logistics plan for the relocation to the new Head Office.

Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.

Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.

Ensuring project deadlines are met.

Identifying project risks and communication actions plans to Steering Committee to mitigate risks (e.g. schedule, costs, etc)

Providing administrative support as needed.

Undertaking project tasks as assigned with the project plan.

Working with the Chief People Officer and the Head of Facilities on developing project strategies.

Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.

Ensure stakeholder input is managed towards the best solution.

Chair and facilitate project meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.

Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.

Project Manager Experience and Skills :

Extensive experience in project management

Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills with experience communicating with C-Suite leadership

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Competency in Microsoft applications and Google applications

Knowledge file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.

Ability to work on tight and fast deadlines

Past experience project managing a large office tenant improvement project (in excess of 90,000 sqft) preferred

PMP certification or relevant experience required
