Mission

Working alongside your IT Logistics colleagues, you will be responsible for providing technical and business support to Trading, Middle Office, Tech&Ops, Compliance and Finance teams.

Additionally, you will assist in the support of office business applications and systems. Maintenance of servers, telephone systems and videoconference systems are also part of IT Logistics' responsibilities.

Also, you will assist in coordinating with different internal and external providers and become a back up to the Head of IT Logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure IT infrastructure, facilities and security operational readiness;
  • Provide support for the workplace environment in a broad sense (PCs, virtual machines, laptops, phones, mobile solutions, printers, Windows OS, Office suite, etc.);
  • Administer systems and accounts (management of data center, including DRP and administration of back-ups);
  • Maintain various documentation (systems flowcharts, network diagrams, contracts, procedures, etc.);
  • Install, administer and monitor application servers in collaboration with head office specialists;
  • Realize technical projects and deploy the corresponding solutions in coordination with Corporate IT & Logistics specialists;
  • Liaise with building staff to resolve tenant issues (HVAC, cleaning, etc.);
  • Be a back-up to the Head of IT Logistics to ensure full redundancy.
  • Profile

  • Trading support experience preferred, financial or banking experience would be an asset;
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related discipline;
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills;
  • Strong skills in Office products, especially Excel and Access;
  • Communicates in a structured, clear manner, both orally and in writing, in both English and French;
  • Shows a strong results-orientation, using a broad variety of resources effectively;
  • Handles multiple and shifting priorities well, managing time and stress effectively;
  • Flexible, customer service orientation, occasionally available outside regular business hours;
  • Be open to robotisation;
  • Good team player, committed to getting results.
  • Endowed with an excellent sense of customer service as well as good analytical skills, available and flexible, you adapt quickly to new situations and enjoy working in teams.
