This role will report to the Sr. Manager Procurement Operations Procurement COE. The Sr. Manager Procurement Operations COE reports to the procurement COE director who reports to the VP of Procurement.

What you will do :

  • Responsible for supplier analytics, communication, engagement with the indirect supplier community, the business units and internal stakeholders
  • Develop effective communications both internally and externally to the supplier community, develop and coordinate supplier information including analytics and training
  • Respond to Supplier issues and questions relating to the onboarding process and assist in resolving issues between the Supplier and the Ariba Network post deployment
  • Lead a team to assist in the development and deployment of supplier catalogs for end user consumption on the Ariba platform
  • Lead a team to execute on the supplier enablement, and catalog strategy as set by Nutrien business leaders
  • Assist and advise in creating the enterprise wide digital enablement strategy for Nutrien
  • Create and communicate digital enablement reports to improve the overall communication of progress on Nutrien’s digital enablement strategy and activities
  • Advise on necessary solutions that will allow for touchless supply chain transactions
  • Network with industry professionals to identify best practices and benchmark performance to ensure processes and systems are optimized
  • Drive continuous, incremental and where possible, step-change improvement to achieve leading edge performance around the Procure-to-pay process
  • Support the development and implementation of a P2P KPI dashboard to measure progress toward the strategic vision
  • Responsible for Supplier digital enablement planning and implementation
  • Responsible for creating reports, dashboards, and presentations to clearly communicate the progress of Nutrien’s digital enablement strategy
  • Chair the digital enablement working committee sessions to collaborate and communicate across multiple departments regarding the digital enablement progress and strategy
  • Present digital enablement progress to a steering committee of made up procurement leadership
  • What you will bring :

  • 5+ years in relevant progressive industry experience in a business analyst role or system / process design and implementation experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of the source to pay process for indirect materials
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field
  • Expert level experience with SAP, Oracle, SAP Ariba or equivalent ERP and eProcurement platforms
  • Experience in supply chain management, including procurement, multi-phase sourcing efforts, supplier relationship management, with ability to identify, develop, propose, and implement process change
  • Certifications in disciplines such as Procurement (SCMP / CPSM), Inventory Management, Lean / Six Sigma, or Operational Planning preferred
  • Ariba platform experience highly preferred
  • Experience with a large-scale ERP implementation projects
  • Ability to analyze issues with business processes (Sourcing, Contracts, Requesting, Buying, and Invoicing)
  • Ability to analyze and determine solutions to problems that arise with supply chain business processes
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Ability to create presentations and update progress
  • Ability to work with multiple departments and all levels of management
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
