If you want to grow and develop within a dynamic, stable, achieving team projects of various nature, we are looking for several project managers to join the team of Major Metro Asset Maintenance Programs.

The GPMAM is responsible for replacing the fixed equipment that has reaches the end of their useful life. The projects carried out are very varied : construction of ventilation stations, accessibility projects (addition of elevators inside existing stations), various deliverables of an electrical nature (medium and low voltage) and addition or modernization of equipment for telecommunication.

GPMAM carries out its projects in IAGC (engineering, procurement and construction management) mode. Carrying out projects often requires multidisciplinary engineering teams (architecture and engineering (all disciplines are represented).

Stantec has been a partner for over 19 years with the STM. The current team is made up around 250 people from the STM and Stantec.

Responsibilities :

  • Identify, understand and validate customer needs;
  • Organize and coordinate the activities of the engineering disciplines of its deliverable (preparation of technical documents for tenders and works done by the owner);
  • Validate the interdisciplinary consistency of plans and specifications in collaboration with the various engineers in the disciplines;
  • Convene and lead the coordination meetings of its deliverable;
  • Organize and coordinate design reviews with the client;
  • Apply the quality system and ensure the classification of engineering documents;
  • Establish and monitor progress indicators for its deliverables and set up, if required, recovery plans;
  • Identify and assess the relevance and value of changes that may affect its deliverable in collaboration with all stakeholders;
  • Ensure the control and respect for the scope of its deliverables and their achievement within the deadlines;
  • Support contract administrators in the supply and completion phase;
  • Provide technical assistance during the implementation and commissioning phase;
  • Ensure the traceability of needs at each phase of the deliverable from the beginning until the transfer of the works to the customer.

    Requirements :

  • University degree in engineering;
  • Must have good experience in ge especially denies consulting in civil engineering (building structure);
  • Must have good experience of commercial and / or industrial building construction projects;
  • Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ);
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
