Our CBI Health Centre is looking for a full-time Assessing Kinesiologist to complement our talented interdisciplinary team.

This is your opportunity to do the work you love every day. Using your exercise therapy skills, you will achieve outstanding clinical outcomes and client engagement with the people that you treat while helping your clients to return to work and everyday activities at all stages of rehabilitation.

PRIMARY DUTIES

As an Assessing Registered Kinesiologist, you will :

  • Complete Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE)
  • Complete comprehensive reports outlining restrictions and recommended treatment plans
  • Collaboration with third party companies by e-mail and phone
  • Collaborate with internal and external team members to coordinate an suitable treatment plan
  • QUALIFICATIONS

    To take on the role of Registered Kinesiologist , you must :

  • Be a graduate of a University Kinesiology program
  • Matheson Functional Capacity Training an asset
  • Be eligible for registration with the College of Kinesiologists of Alberta (AKA)
  • Have excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Be comfortable working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Work hard to improve your skills
  • Be empathetic with an effective ability to build rapport with patients and sponsors
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and to facilitate our clients’ needs by exceeding their goals
