Job Summary

The Performance & Insights Analyst is responsible for supporting the successful prioritization and execution of portfolio of projects (IT and non-

IT investments) that drive strategic investments into our business. The candidate must have demonstrated a willingness and ability to work in various environments.

The Performance & Insights Analyst should be able to grasp strategic implications and opportunities of program proposals and with the breadth of ability to support the construction of business rationale, financial cases and benefit delivery programs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support creating & sustaining an environment in which the strategic internal investment portfolio is designed, operationalized, delivered & realized
  • Support the informing and driving a fact based discussion around optimal capital investment for the organization
  • Vet business cases for consideration, approval, and subsequent benefit delivery
  • Support prioritization of initiatives, projects and programs that make up the scope of the Transformation Program
  • Work closely with Project / Program Sponsors at Executive and business unit level, project managers, the EPMO and Finance teams to meet the following accountabilities :
  • Strategic Road-mapping (build futuristic transformation roadmap)
  • Transformation Portfolio management (Cost Estimations, Delivery Planning, Execution and Due Diligence)
  • Portfolio Performance & Reporting
  • Benefits Realization
  • Update executive presentations for Executive Committee on Transformation
  • Progress, Performance and overall Governance
  • Produce material for Transformation SteerCo meetings and discussions
  • Support sponsors in building program governance, execution planning, benefit delivery plans and tracking mechanism
  • Other ad-hoc activities as required for IT Strategy & Change function as well as CIO office
  • Education

  • Bachelor's degree; at least 3+ years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Finance, Program Management and General Management professional qualifications considered an asset
  • Consulting experience an added bonus
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Skillful Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies, Tools, and Product Development Lifecycle(s) (added bonus)
  • Very strong analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with Budgeting, forecasting and business case development (added bonus)
  • Advanced MS-Office skills (i.e. Excel skills (Ability to write macros a bonus), PowerPoint)
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver multiple activities concurrently
  • Takes pride in work, striving for excellence
