Job Description :

Do you thrive in non-traditional Assistant roles? Do you enjoy supporting multiple leaders at a time; may it be a Director, Senior Manager or Vice President?

We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join the largest Health Benefit insurer in Canada! In this role, you will be the Executive Assistant reporting directly to the Regional Vice Presidentand supporting the key direct reports.

Located in the south financial district in downtown Toronto the Executive Assistant, Central Region, is accountable for :

  • Managing the calendar, travel arrangements and expenses for the RVP
  • Monitoring emails and incoming information identifying what is a priority
  • Setting up meetings and representing the RVP in a professional manner
  • Event planning, creating presentations and RFP's
  • Acting as a gatekeeper in response to internal and external events
  • Invoicing, billing and expenses administration
  • Coordination of internal meeting with clients and consultants
  • Assisting in onboarding of new employees
  • Monitoring and due diligence with certain reporting documents
  • Other ad hoc work as needed including administrative and clerical requests

  • Qualified candidates will have :

  • 3 years of Executive Assistant experience including;
  • Calendar management experience, travel coordination experience, experience with invoicing, billing, and expenses
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professionalism, tact, and diplomacy
  • Ability to work in dynamic, changing, and team-oriented environment
  • Tech savvy and ability to grasp new technology quickly and coach team members
  • Must be able to pass all background checks
