Role : Access Technology Service Technician
Compensation : $52k $62k
Our client is a leading global company that is considered a very desirable employer. They are looking to add a Service Technician to their Building Access Division.
They provide services and support in the areas of Electronic Access and Automatic Door Systems. In this role you will perform preventative maintenance, emergency maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs, as well as end-
user assistance regarding the proper utilization of these systems.
Performing service / installation repair work and preventative maintenance.
Maintaining accurate work records Adequate parts inventory for service vehicleKeep inventory log;
Keeping manuals up to date, and maintain company vehicles, tools and other property.
Maintaining good customer relations and customer service;
Diploma in a related carpentry, electrical, mechanical, industrial field or the equivalent combination of education and related work experience;
Prior experience in the automated door industry including swinging, sliding and revolving doors would be a definite asset;
AAADM Certification would be an asset;
Ability to work outside in various climate conditions;
Must be able to read basic blueprints;
Good oral and written communication skills;
Must be proficient in basic computer functions such as email and MS Word.
