The Campus Recruiter, Institutional Client Group ( ICG ) Technology will be responsible for ensuring that the highest caliber candidates are attracted to Citi through appropriate on campus marketing and effective screening of candidates.

The successful candidate will manage the on-campus efforts for our ICG Technology Analyst Program at a select group of target schools for both summer and full-time recruiting.

This 12 month contract position will be based at our Mississauga office location. The successful candidate will have responsibility in the following areas :

Specific Role Accountabilities :

  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, recruiting committees and hiring managers to advise business on best in class on-campus recruiting strategies, incorporating a focus on Branding, campus presence, target schools, and candidate profiles
  • Work with school teams to further define and execute the on-campus strategy at assigned target schools.
  • Coordination of all on-campus and in-house activities for schools including company presentations, office visits, networking events, and interviews
  • Participate in interviews, and the selection process in partnership with the business;
  • Secure coverage for and attend campus and in-house events;
  • Assist in the development and support of diversity recruiting efforts across targeted campuses;
  • Manage relationships with key contacts at career centers;
  • Serve as primary resource for candidates throughout the recruiting process be able to market Citi, answer questions, communicate status;
  • Analyze key recruiting statistics to drive strategy;
  • Manage summer intern and / or full-time programs including onboarding, training, events, appraisal process and offers;
  • Support program management processes including rotations, placements, performance management, compensation, and promotion;
  • Update and monitor online applicant tracking system for schools / businesses and report on entry hiring and full-time program statistics as requested;
  • May be asked to assist with recruiting in other areas of the Bank as required;
  • Ensure all internal control, compliance and regulatory guidelines are met;
  • As a member of the Human Resources team, participate in the achievement of departmental Human Resources goals;
  • Perform ad hoc administrative duties as needed
  • Qualifications :

    The ideal candidate will be a university / college graduate, preferably with 2-5 years of campus recruiting, event planning or other HR experience.

    In addition, they will also have :

  • Desire to be in a service-oriented environment with enthusiasm and high level of interest in Recruiting and Program Management
  • Ability to prioritize as needed while handling multiple time-sensitive projects in a very fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills, work ethic, initiative, sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Strong technical skills, including significant experience using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Effective writing and oral presentation skills
  • Strong project management, creative problem-solving skills and ability to act independently
  • Team player with flexibility to accommodate different personalities and work styles as well as confidence to manage interactions and expectations at all levels of the organization
  • Flexibility for travel and to work evening hours and some weekends as needed during peak seasons.
  • Previous experience in Workday an asset.
