The Human Resources Business Partner works closely with Supply chain, Distribution and transport leaders.
They will advise managers and take part in various projects regarding human resource management in order to support Lowe’s Canada’s strategic plans.
Participate to Supply chain transformation with vice-presidents.
Provide strategic advice on the organization’s structure and change management in a transformation environment
Provide strategic advice on performance management, workforce planning, and succession planning
Be in contact with team managers to advise and coach them, as well as support the implementation of Human Resources and Labour Relations programs (for unionized and non-unionized locations)
Work in collaboration with various HR Centres of Expertise and cross-functional teams to ensure the organization’s and client’s HR needs are met
Manage the investigation process for complaints regarding the sector of activity
Work with the Legal department or the Labour Relations advisor to prepare litigation files and present them to decision-making bodies
Work with the Talent Acquisition team to recruit for vacant positions and, if applicable, recommend salary adjustments according to the organization’s standards and policies
Develop and complete various special projects for the Human Resources department
Perform any other related tasks
Requirements : The qualifications we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, industrial relations, or a related field.
5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in similar roles (union and non union environment) within a national, large-scale organization.
Spoken and written bilingualism (French and English).
Good judgment, initiative, autonomy, and discretion.
Adaptability and ability to manage priorities.
Action and customer-oriented approach combined with problem-solving skills.
Ability to build relationships of trust and influence others.
Proficiency in an advisory role and ability to adapt to unexpected and changing situations.
Strong people skills and maturity.
Ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
