Business Development Analyst (Internship)

Paladin Labs Business Development team is currently looking for a University Student in Business Administration. This temporary mandate, lasting 6 months for a maximum of 20 hours per week, is an incredible opportunity to acquire a first relevant experience in business development.

Position Summary

The Business Development Analyst’s responsibility is to assist the business development team by assuming broad responsibilities in three areas : market research, analysis and project management.

This is a Montreal-based position.

The ideal candidate is highly inquisitive and results oriented with a high desire and ability for continuous learning. In addition, the candidate should be computer savvy with great communication and organizational skills as well as an ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Reports To

Vice-president, Business Development

Specific Responsibilities

Reviews of different therapeutic areas.

Assist with new product assessments including review of scientific literature, summary of current market dynamics including qualitative and quantitative market research.

Contribute to product valuations and building financial models.

Assist the team in managing various administrative and departmental projects including the implementation of a customer relations’ management tool.

Required

Be a University student in business administration.

Have a good knowledge of science.

Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (in particular Excel) and aptitude for computer programming.

Asset

Experience with market research and data analysis.

Understanding of the biotechnology / pharmaceutical industry.

Experience in financial modeling.

Knowledge of IMS and Brogan data.
