We are re-imaging digital banking not only for Meridian, but for our soon to be launched digital bank! Our team is growing and we are looking for two customer centric, digitally savvy Product Managers to deliver on our ambitious goals and growth aspirations.

About the Role

As part of the Digital Banking team and reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Banking, the Digital Product Manager will be accountable for managing the continual development and execution for Meridian’s digital sales, online and mobile banking platforms.

You will contribute to the digital strategy and will work closely with internal and external partners to influence, build, and promote digital within Meridian.

You will also be heavily focused on Member experience and managing the design and development of capabilities that drives sales or the self-serve environments.

Guided by our Meridian Blueprint for Growth you will be focused on building amazing products and capabilities that create value for our Members through thoughtful digital experiences.

Digital Product Manager you will

  • Support and contribute to the digital strategy and roadmap
  • Take ownership of key digital capabilities, as the Go To you should be able to articulate your vision, strategy and key initiatives to enhance your digital platform capability
  • Through data, marketing insights, the voice of the member and contributions from the digital team, you will be challenged to strategize and design products and capabilities that will align with our digital goals, address our Member problems / needs and disrupt the status quo
  • Work closely with the front line and our analytics team as you will constantly use qualitative and quantitative data to seek new opportunities and uncover challenges faced by our Members
  • Provide input and recommendations for product changes and new development with the goal of increasing the overall share of wallet.
  • Lead digital initiatives, collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders to delivery your digital product / capability vision
  • Act as a digital advocate, being able to articulate the evolution of our digital platform and socialize business rational and economics for product enhancements and new capabilities
  • Responsible for understanding the overall health of you’re the products and capabilities you own by tracking key outcomes, budget, and KPI targets
  • Constantly researching and keeping up-to-date on the latest digital trends, emerging technologies and customer development design practices
  • The team is here for you, but you have the autonomy to deliver on your product goals. So you must be comfortable and resourceful to work with whomever you need to in order to get things done (Development, Marketing, external partners, etc )
  • WHO YOU ARE :

  • Spent over 5 years building great online and mobile digital products as a Product Manager / Owner. Preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Genuinely passionate about owning and developing a digital product with a strong focus on customer driven design and iterative development
  • Customer-focused with the ability to balance business needs to achieve desired outcomes
  • Self-starter committed to continuous learning and knowledge sharing
  • Strong collaborator and effective communicator, able to welcome feedback and work with diverse teams to build relationships, influence decisions, and design and deliver new products / capabilities
  • Analytical and data-driven; continually seek data to assess, make decisions and creatively solve complex customer and business related problems
  • Experience / comfortable working in digital transforming environments that are adopting new practice and building fluid working models
  • Relevant work experience in a Business, Technology, or Agency environment with a focus on building online and mobile digital experiences
  • Knowledge of the financial industry and its emerging trends (i.e. Payments, AI, etc..)
  • University degree or equivalent
