Analyst, Global Incentive Compensation Operational Program Excellence About this position The Global Incentive Compensation Operations team located in San Francisco and Indianapolis is the global leader for sales commission policies and processes for all of our direct and indirect sales teams, including North America, LACA, EMEA, APAC, and Japan.
This position, under the Operational Excellence arm of GIC, will partner with stakeholders and be responsible for representing the team in cross-functional company-wide initiatives.
This role will provide analysis and guidance on resolution while adhering to policies and processes. The end result is excellence in performance and process for the integration of Salesforce with our cloud-based commission system, Xactly.
This is an individual contributor position that will directly report to an Operational Excellence manager. This role requires an individual who is able to work in a team environment, be self-motivated, is detail-oriented, and has demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Your Impact Understand data models, related objects, and sales order processes within Salesforce to be able to analyze gaps, provide guidance to a cross-functional team driving project initiatives.
Assess business objectives and craft manual processes to address the business need and align on the long-term strategy required to transition to automated processing.
Analyze and locate patterns within data to provide accurate and consistent data and make processes more efficient for future time periods.
Assist with the global user acceptance testing process of Xactly. Assist with Ad hoc projects / presentations related to company initiatives and / or management requests Complete and prioritize work as required in a fast-paced environment.
Basic Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics or related field, or equivalent experience 3+ years work experience Must have strong Excel skills Experience utilizing automated commission systems is a plus (e.
g, Xactly, Callidus, etc.) Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills; detail-oriented and a problem-solver.
Ability to communicate across various functional groups within an organization, globally Must be able to accurately compile and synthesize both quantitative and qualitative data Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines Preferred Experience Working knowledge of CRM, SOQL, SQL, Python to present large volumes of data in an easy-to-understand narrative.
